Pennsylvania Native Is Crowned Mister USA 2008

A 24 year old native of Meadville, Pennsylvania Ivan Rusilko wins Mister USA 2008 beauty contest at a gala event held at the Lenox Hotel ballroom in Boston. Ivan is a professional model and he won over $20,000 in cash and prizes by winning the competition.

The candidates competed in 3 rounds of competition -- swimwear, evening wear and interviews. The panel of celebrity judges includes Jacob Hill, Mister USA 2007; Alida D'Agona, Miss Boston 2008; Dana Rosengard, professor of journalism at Suffolk University; Becca Bousquet, the official photographer sponsor; and Alvin Matium, professional make-up artist and pageant coach.

Second Runner-up: Calisto Harvalias, 22, of Whitsett, North Carolina
Third Runner-up: Gbadebo Williams, 23, of New York, New York
Fourth Runner-up: Shafik Bahou, 21, of, Nashua, New Hampshire

The other three contestants were: Nicholas Ferrara, 20, of Swansea, Massachusetts; Marcus Boutte, 21, of Houston, Texas; and Rob Tannozzini, 21, of Boston, Massachusetts.

Ivan will represent the United States in the Mister International 2008 pageant to be held in Republic of China in November this year.
