Miss World Bahamas 2008 - Tinnyse Johnson

21 year old Tinnyse Jamel Johnson was crowned as the new Miss Bahamas 2008. She entered the beauty contest as Miss Fox Phone Card Center and one of the "fierce fifteen" as capacity crowd at the Rainforest Theatre on the Cable Beach strip of Nassau, Bahamas witnessed her crowned. Tinnyse stands 5'8 ½" tall and will be travelling to Johannesburg, South Africa to compete at the 2008 Miss World Beauty Pageant on December 14.

Tinnyse is really a carribean island girl. "I love the island way of life – fishing, crabbing, conching, and especially making tamarind sauce," she said. "I also often make time to enjoy the beautiful beaches of The Bahamas. In my spare time, I enjoy swimming, listening to music, writing inspirational messages, and taking in a good movie" Tinnyse added.

The new beauty queen is currently enrolled in the College of the Bahamas where she is pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. She hopes to put that education to good use by one day owning a conglomerate of businesses internationally. She also wants to make her mark on the international inspirational speaking circuit.
