Miss Japan, Riyo Mori wins Miss Universe 2007

After the swimsuits and evening gown competition, it finally arrived to the announcement of the top 5 delegates of Miss Universe 2007 Beauty Pageant. With the ranking of the average score, here are the top 5 (ranked):

#1 - Miss Brazil, Natalia Guimaraes (9.579)
#2 - Miss Japan, Riyo Mori (9.271)
#3 - Miss Korea, Honey Lee (9.320)
#4 - Miss Venezuela, Ly Jonaitis (9.240)
#5 - Miss USA, Rachel Smith (8.874)

The top 5 contestants will now compete at the last round of competition which is the interview round. They will be asked by the judges with a limited time.

Now, after the judges have made their decisions, the reigning Miss Universe 2006 from Puerto Rico, Zuleyka Rivera Mendoza is ready to crown her successor. Miss Japan, Riyo Mori is the new Miss Universe 2007. Riyo was born on December 24, 1986 in Aoi-ku, Shizuoka, Japan. She is working as a dance instructor in her country. She hopes to teach children dancing and how to believe in themselves.
