Lena Ma wins Miss World Canada 2009
Lena Yanbing Ma was crowned as the new Miss World Canada 2009 in a beauty pageant held last March 21. She will be competing representing her country at the Miss World 2009 Contest on December at Johannesburg, South Africa.
The 1.80m. beauty was from North York, Ontario who currently pursues a Bachelor of Music and Life Sciences.
Close to the title was the runners-up: Nelly Hadi (1st), Sabeen Chaudhary (2nd), Jasmine Pham (3rd), and Patricia Singh (4th).
Special Awards are also given to deserving candidates during the finals such as:
Glitz and Glam Couture Best in Evening Gown: Lena Ma
Fiorio Woman of Style Award:
Alejandro Antequera Miss Photogenic: Danika Brazeau
Miss Friendship: Alyssa Genier
