Engara Melanie Amanda Gosselin crowned Miss Cook Islands 2009

Miss Rarotongan Beach Resort and Spa, Engara Melanie Amanda Gosselin was crowned as the new Miss Cook Islands 2009. She is a 24 year old Graduate Management Trainee Student at the University of the South Pacific. Engara will compete at the Miss Earth 2009 Beauty Pageant to be held in Manila, Philippines later this year. Also, representing her country at Miss South Pacific Contest.

Close to the title is the 1st run-up, Joyanna Myer while the 2nd run-up was Uirangi Bishop.
