Miss Colombia wins Miss International 2004 Contest
Jeymmy Paola Vargas Gomez, Miss Colombia and also Reina Internacional del Cafe 2004 titleholder won the coveted Miss International 2004 Beauty Pageant held at Workers Indoor Arena, Beijing, China on October 16 2004 where she defeated 58 other lovely contestants. She was crowned by Miss International 2003, Goizeder Azua from Venezuela. Jeymmy is third Colombian and also the first woman of colour to win the title.
Very close to the title of Miss International 2004 was the 1st run-up Amy Lynne Holbrook of USA. 2nd run-up was given to Miss Greece, Olga Kypriotou.
