Miss Universe Romania 2009 Schedule of Events

May 21 – June 11: Contestants apply online or at Baneasa Shopping City

June 12: The top 200 contestants will be invited to the semi-finalists’ pre-selection, on the basis of the 3 photos and profile submitted online

June 13 – 14: Pre-section of the top 24 contestants at Baneasa Shopping City

June 27: Starting 21:10, the National Final of The Miss Universe Romania 2009 will be transmitted live on TVR 1 and TVR International, reaching 22 million citizens in Romania and the 7 million Romanians living abroad

Besides the prior contest rounds, the show will contain a number of music bands, tele-voting and will finish off with choosing the winner of the Miss Universe Romania 2009 trophy and her designation as the representative of Romania at Miss Universe 2009, in Paradise Island, Bahamas.



All 24 contestants will be each judged to an interview for evaluating their personality and will parade in:

Casual day-to-day outfits - from Nissa

Swimsuits - from I.D. Sarrieri

Traditional / National costumes

Evening gowns - from Bien Savvy
