Miss Costa Rica, Maria Amalia Matamoros Solis is one of the 23 contestants of Reina Hispanoamericana 2009 (Hispanic American Queen) Beauty Pageant which will be held on October 29 in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Vivian Noronha Cia, Reina Hispanoamericana 2008 (photo above) will take her final walk and crown her successor during the final event.
Maria Amalia won the Miss World Costa Rica 2008 title and competed in the Miss World 2008 Pageant. She was also a candidate of Miss Continente Americano 2009 Contest.
