Anais Veerapatren (Mauritius) - Miss World 2009 Candidate
Miss Mauritius, Deena Valerie Anais Veerapatren is one of the 112 contestants of Miss World 2009 Beauty Pageant to be held on December 12 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Deanna Valerie is currently working as a public relations officer and has recently graduated from university with a law and management degree. Her future ambition is to be recognised as a successful law practitioner. Her favourite novel is “To Kill a Mockingbird” by Harper Lee and she enjoys listening to Jazz and Blues music. Deanna describes herself as full of life, caring and eager to learn. She cites “Fully human, fully alive” as her personal motto.
Veerapatren was named as Miss Mauritius 2008 at the Mister and Miss Mauritius 2008 contest held on September 20, 2008. She is also one of the delegates of Miss Universe 2009 pageant held in the Bahamas.
