Danielle was born and raised in calgary alberta, she is a very active person since childhood she has participated in many sports soccer being her favourite, this has made her a very competitive and determined person and beleives she can do anything she puts her mind to.
Danielle graduated from calgary academy in 2008 and received her high school diploma, after school she got accepted into universities saint francis xavier being the choice she wanted, but decided to take a year off to soul search and find out what she really wanted with life. It is in this time that she met up with Patti Falconer and found her passion for modeling. She hopes to attend the University of Toronto in the near future for a undergrad so that she can transfer into law after.
People are an important part of Danielles life and she hopes a career in modelling will open up opportunities to travel and explore the world to experience different cultures and meet interesting people which will help to inspire her in one of her other passions which is to paint pictures and sketch.
If given the chance to work with miss universe canada Danielle would like to raise awareness for bullying. People do not realize that words hurt just as much as if someone where to physically hurt you, sometimes. Danielle has known a lot of people in the past that have been victim for bullying and though she has always stood up for them there are so many people out there that don't have anyone to stick up for them, Danielle would like everyone to realize that it can change a person life and would like help stop it.
