Prena Thapa
Age: 18
Hometown: London
BIO: My name is Prena Thapa and I am 18 years old. I was born in a town called Ealing. Both my parents are Nepalese but I was born in London. I have been brought up by my traditional family my whole life and they mean the world to me. I have learnt many things from them such as values and respect. I am a positive fun loving girl that loves to cherish life and take care of her family and friends. Poetry is an important part of my life, by the age of 13 I published two poetry books and also received a gold medal for being the youngest Nepalese poet to publish books in the Nepalese society in London. Music is a big part of my life and I have been playing the guitar ever since I was young, I love going to music festivals and checking out new musicians. In the past I have volunteered for MacMillan cancer charity volunteering in Sainsbury’s collecting funds. I will be supporting and donating funds to more charities in the future and encouraging others to do so. I am honored to have reached it this far in this competition and know that I will enjoy every minute of it.
