Biography:
“I come from a background where the utmost importance was laid on education. And not redundant education, but where one is equipped to observe, reason and absorb. Despite not having grown up on the Indian curriculum, I challenged myself to understand where I come from and understand Indian history and psyche. I had immense passion for acrylic painting but was determined to graduate in biotechnology. Eventually I settled on actuarial science when I entered university at the age of 16. By 18, I wanted to be in movies. There-onwards, I have studied scriptwriting and have kept eyes on theatre and acting. Being part of cinema is what prompts me to wake up everyday and learn and observe even the tiniest details of a mediocre life or the grand big picture. I am passionate about watching movies and being critical about them, at the same time, I love outdoor sports. I believe ‘I Am She’ goes beyond a standard beauty pageant. The concept and layout intrigues me and I am excited to get my competitive streak roaring for the right reasons!”
