Bio: I am 19 years old and I live in Ebbw Vale, Blaenau Gwent with my parents. Since leaving school with GCSE’s I went on to gain 3 NVQ’s in childcare and am working in Willowtown Primary School as a teaching assistant. My ambition is to go on to university and become a qualified teacher. This is such a worthwhile job and so rewarding, seeing the joy and excitement on the children’s faces when they have achieved something. I am very friendly, outgoing and have a kind nature. I’m also a very positive person with a great zest for life. My hobbies include, keeping fit at the gym, swimming, walking my dog and socialising. My dream is to travel and to see the beautiful countries around the world. Winning the Miss Blaenau Gwent competition was a fantastic experience and to be in the finals of the Miss Wales competition, representing my county makes me so proud. I’m thoroughly enjoying raising money for The Joshua Foundation, its so fulfilling knowing you are making a difference to children’s lives. I’m so grateful for the love and support of my family and friends and the people of Blaenau Gwent, who are backing me all the way.
