Stephanie Davey | Miss Wales 2010 Finalist
Miss Wales 2010 Beauty Pageant
Candidates
Name: Stephanie Davey
Age: 21
Hometown: Penarth
Bio:Hi – my name’s Stephanie Davey, I’m 22 and live in Penarth where like my parents I was born and bred in this lovely seaside town and am so proud of my Welsh heritage. I think I have a very adventurous outlook on life and enjoy new challenges. A few years ago I took part in the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award which was a huge and exacting challenge but nevertheless I enjoyed every minute of it. Socially I am very sport-orientated and enjoy going to the gym – I also love skiing and horse riding. After my A levels I achieved an HND in Beauty and Spa Management at University of Glamorgan, Nant Garw, which has given me a wonderful start to a career which is so varied and of course gives me a chance to meet and interact with so many people. The Joshua Foundation has become very close to my heart and I’ve enjoyed the fundraising side of things – I recently organised a concert in Dinas Powys which was a huge success and raised almost £600 – this also gave a great opportunity to local up and coming entertainers to not only display their talents but also help them to gain recognition in their respective fields as well. I now hope to make this an annual fundraising event for the Joshua Foundation. I would be thrilled to become Miss Wales as I believe I have the necessary drive and enthusiasm to become a worthy ambassador for my country which I love and am extremely proud of in so many ways.
