Kamilla Salgado, Miss Para wins Miss World Brazil 2010
23 year old Miss Para, Kamilla Salgado won the title of Miss World Brazil 2010 / Miss Mundo Brasil 2010 beauty pageant on August 7 at the Hotel do Frade in Agra dos Reis. She was crowned by Luciana Reis, Miss Mundo Brasil 2009 winner.
The new Miss World Brazil 2010, Kamilla Salgado is from Belem and stands 1.72m tall. She will compete representing Brazil to compete at the world's greatest beauty pageant, Miss World 2010 beauty contest in Sanya, People's Republic of China on October 30.
The first runner-up was Miss Fernando de Noronha, Isabelle Sampaio while the second runner-up was Miss Rondonia, Suymara Barreto.
Completing the top 7 finalists were Miss Parana, Jhennifer Martins; Miss Rio Grande do Sul, Osyane Pilecco; Miss Rio de Janeiro, Jessica Barros; and Miss Sao Paulo, Karina Pacheli.
Candidates who were part of the top 17 semi-finalists were Miss Arquipelago de Alcatrazes, Luiza Tessari; Miss Amapa, Larissa Costa; Miss Bahia, Caroline Ferreira, Miss Ceara, Khrisley Karlen; Miss Distrito Federa, Denise Ribeiro; Miss Goias, Pollyanna Stemutt; Miss Ilhabela, Bruna Bois; Miss Maranhao, Karine Martins, Miss Mato Grosso, Tatiana Strelov; and Miss Pernambuco, Palloma Montezuma.
