Michelle Thuc-Doan Phan wins Miss Vietnam New Jersey 2010
17 year old Michelle Thuc-Doan Phan was crowned Miss Vietnam New Jersey 2010 in a beauty pageant held in May 2010 at Rutgers University, Busch Campus, in Piscataway New Jersey where 13 gorgeous contestants competed.
The 1st Runner-up is Tran Tu Phuong. The 2nd Runner-up is Cindy Nguyen. The 3rd Runner-up is Luong Thu Huong, and Miss Congeniality is Monica Lynh Thi.
The contest categories include Ao dai Competition, Evening Gown Competition, Talent Performance and a series of interviews. After the last questions and answers section, the panel of judge selected 4 contestants to the Panel of Finalists and Miss Vietnam New Jersey was announced.
Newly crowned Miss Vietnam New Jersey 2010, Michelle Thuc-Doan Phan attended St. Helena’s School in Edison from kinder garden to 8th grade. She recently graduated JP Stevens High School in Edison NJ. She will attend Rutgers University in the Fall 2010, planning to study in the field of Biology. Michelle enjoys playing piano, singing and horse back riding. She has participated in several Musical Plays at her schools as well as performed at the Vietnamese Cultural and Heritage Shows for NJVACA and at her church and local communities.
