BIO:
I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. I believe every outcome, whether it be negative or positive, was the path God had planned for me. I do not take a success for granted and I do not see a failure as a failure, but as a means for God to tell me "Not Yet." I always have a positive attitude so that positive things may come back around and bless my life.
Describe your childhood when you were growing up from 8 to 13 years old.
Growing up as a child, I spent a lot of time outside. I have a sister who is a year younger so I always had a playmate. We were constantly together and loved to use our imagination. As we grew older, I played Basketball, Volleyball, and was a cheerleader when I entered middle school. I spent every summer at church camp and sports camps. My parents kept us busy and always entertained and I am very thankful for them.
What lessons did you learn from your childhood/growing years?
Through my life thus far, I have learned that I will always stand up for what is right. I do what is right no matter the cost. Life has taught me that in the end it is always important to stand up for what you believe and know that it is the right thing regardless of the peer pressure or consequences.
What is your most memorable moment?
Growing up loving the outdoors, being with my family and the opportunities to use my imagination. Just being Danielle Bounds.
What is your environmental advocacy?
Education is the tool to better the Earth.
