Guijoo Lee
Age: 20
Height: 174 cm.
Weight: 53 kilos
Measurements: 86-61-88
Occupation: Student
BIO:
Korea is a country with a long history, pride, culture and tradition. The beauty of Korea is now watched by the world and has captured the imagination of the world. I am the representation of the traditional Korean dish (Hansik), Korean costume (Hanbok) and the Korean Letters (Hangui) through out the long history of Korea.
Describe your childhood when you were growing up from 8 to 13 years old.
I spent some childhood in the countryside, enjoyed the nature. I ran the dogs in the wide field and mountains. The air is so clear that I was so happy. I liked to go to the red pepper field with my grandmother because I felt so good when the peppers have ripened to a nice red. And I fed the animals with my brother, played with the fishes at the river during the summer since I love to play in the water. I studied while breathing the scent of nature and there was so much freedom.
What lessons did you learn from your childhood/growing years?
Due to childhood experiences , I know the importance of nature very well. The life experience I had while I grew up with nature is now taking control of my sensibility. And I always felt the importance of environmental protection. Remembering nature is a great memory for me and I want to keep it natural.
What is your most memorable moment?
When I was appointed as Miss Korea is the most memorable moment because it has been my dream since childhood and I have accomplished my dream so I am very happy now.
What is your environmental advocacy?
The present earth is getting sick gradually by resource abuse and environmental pollution. Also natural disasters such as global warming, earthquake, flood, forest destruction and lack of water situation are threatening the environment. I think that the realization of people to improve and change for the environmental protection must always be in our minds.
