BIO:
To become a memorable person who inspires other and helps them to overcome a career in the world of television and to own my own business. I also want to have a nice family in the future.
Describe your childhood when you were growing up from 8 to 13 years old.
During those years, I was very interested in dancing; I believe that my ballet classes made me a more responsible person because I had to budget my time for doing my homework every day and to study. It taught me how to organize my time and become a more mature person. I also enjoyed many trips with my parents. I remember that I always wanted to do everything in school, like be a member of the chorus, president of my class and to be on the cheerleaders team.
What lessons did you learn from your childhood/growing years?
I learned nothing is impossible, if you want to accomplish something and follow any ideal, you must work very hard, organizing your time and priorities, making things step by step, and even if you failed sometimes, you must go on and take risks.
Also I realized that my inspiration for doing anything is my lovely mom because she is my unconditional supporter, teaching me that the love of a mother is the most important thing that we have in this life.
What is your most memorable moment?
When I personally met a few children that suffer from "Ichthyosis" , a rare disease of the skin: they were so happy to see me. I felt that could relieve their pain at least for one day, demonstrating to them that I was not afraid to give them a hug or a kiss since generally, people are afraid of them because they think the disease is contagious. When I was playing and talking with them, they were very happy that I was there and so was I. We were sharing laughter and happy moments together even though for such a brief time. I realized that the most important things in these children are their intelligence and their capacities for life in general. They have learned to live with their disease and look forward to a future of fulfilling many things in life like us.
What is your environmental advocacy?
My environmental project consists in stimulating a campaign directed to big companies, to educate the employees on the good use of the water, the energy and the paper since they don't have to pay for these resources; it's not important for them to waste them and they should not ignore the environmental impact that wastage can cause.
Plus, I want to spread to the world the project, "YASUNI ITT" created by our National Vice-President, to keep intact and not exploiting a discovered potential petroleum oil field since it is located under a protected area where the tribe, "SHUAR live". In exchange, an economic fund would be created to protect and maintain the underground resources. I wish to encourage other countries to adopt our project where they will create new ways to fight global warming.
