Weight: 50 kilos
Measurements: 89-63.5-89
Occupation: Businesswoman
Hometown: Bern
BIO:
I am half Filipino. My mother is Filipina and when she was 22 years old, she married my father who is Swiss. Although I was born in the Philippines, I grew up in Switzerland and went to school there. Even at a young age, I have been involved in humanitarian and environmental projects. I would collect money in Switzerland and donate it to the projects in Manila. The wish to help comes from the bottom of my heart.
Describe your childhood when you were growing up from 8 to 13 years old.
My mother is Filipina and when she was 22 years old, she married my father who is Swiss. I was actually born in the Philippines on December 8, 1986 at the Makati Medical Center because my mother liked to give birth in the Philippines. I was taken back to Switzerland when I was 3-months old. I live in Bern with my parents. I finished college in Bern and every year , we travel to the Philippines to visit my grandmother and relatives.
What lessons did you learn from your childhood/growing years?
Every human has a right to have a warm meal and enough drinking water everyday. Humans should care for their nature and Mother Earth because Mother Earth cannot speak for herself therefore it is even more important that humans speak for her and protect her. Animals do not have a voice either and it should be our responsibility to speak for the animals and provide them with enough food, water, freedom and exercise. Everyday is always a new start. I am fighting for a better life for all of us and please help and give me a chance to do more this world as Miss Earth.
What is your most memorable moment?
During my visits to the Philippines, my family and I organized donations from concerned individuals and groups for different environmental and humanitarian projects. I could see a lot of happy and thankful eyes which touched my heart. The wish to help whenever it was needed has been ingrained in me since I was a child and it comes from the bottom of my heart.
What is your environmental advocacy?
Recycling must be promoted.
