BIO:
I was living with my parents, and two brothers one older and one younger. I enjoyed going to school and did well. I took part in many school plays and concerts. In secondary school I met a lot of new friends. I appeared on a children's TV program with my best friend. I learned it can be unhealthy to constantly work hard without any time for enjoyment.
Describe your childhood when you were growing up from 8 to 13 years old.
At this time in my life I was living with my parents, and two brothers one older and one younger. We had a dog and pet hamster. I attended St Josephs Catholic primary school and enjoyed going to school. I was well liked in school and got on well with my studies. I took part in many school plays and concerts. I would also help around at home with my mother. Growing older then I moved on to secondary school form going from top of the school to bottom of the school was scary. I moved to Bishop Vaughn catholic school. There were more than 1500 pupils in the school. I found school very different from primary and met a lot of new friends. I went on holiday and appeared on a children's TV program with my best friend at the time to do a competition. I also started to stay over friends houses and have slumber parties. And we would go on family outings around the welsh scenery.
I attended dance and drama school as my out of school activities.
What lessons did you learn from your childhood/growing years?
I have learnt never to take your loved ones for granted, and it can be unhealthy to constantly work hard without any time to enjoy yourself (even though a lot of hard work is essential in a successful life).
What is your most memorable moment?
When my partner's sister went in to labour and gave birth to a healthy baby boy, I will never forget the first time I set eyes on him coming in to the world. And then being asked to be his god mother I will always be a part of this little boy's life and will always care and love him. And when my Nan died things have never been the same and I still think she is here today. That was one of my life's biggest changes.
What is your environmental advocacy?
My environmental message is to help save the community around you, from animals to food to materials. Plant your own fruit and vegetables, recycle your own waste.
They say beauty is only skin deep but nothing is more beautiful and goes deeper than nature itself. Working with Mother Nature and valuing what she can offer us all makes me feel good on the inside. Education and awareness are the keys and if we all take an active responsibility to do our bit then change can be more than just a dream.
