Claudia Elena Schiess wins Miss Ecuador 2011

21 year old Miss Galapagos, Claudia Elena Schiess Fretz from Santa Cruz was crowned as the new Miss Ecuador 2011 held on March 17 at Recinto Ferial de Santo Domingo, Santo Domingo de los Colorados. She was crowned by Miss Ecuador 2010, Lady Fernanda Mina.

The show will be broadcast live by Gama TV and to be hosted by Roberto Rodriguez. The panel of judges are Gionni Straccia, Rafael Araneda, Edwin Rosario and Stefania Fernandez, Miss Universe 2009.

Claudia Schiess will will represent Ecuador at Miss Universe 2011 beauty pageant to be held on September 12 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Crowned as Miss Mundo Ecuador 2011 was Miss Guayas, Maria Veronica Vargas Granja. She will compete at Miss World 2011 contest.

Miss Internacional Ecuador 2011 crown was given to Miss Pichincha, Maria Fernanda Cornejo Alfaro. She will enter the Miss International 2011 beauty pageant.

1st run-up was Miss Guayas, Olga Mercedes Alava Vargas. She will go to Miss Empresarial 2011 contest.

2nd run-up was Miss Guayas, Leslie Ayala Rodriguez and she will enter Miss Atlantico Internacional 2012 next year.
