Lee Ann Forbes is Miss Trinidad & Tobago World 2011
21 year old Miss St. James, Lee Ann Forbes was crowned Miss Trinidad and Tobago World 2011 in a pageant held on May 6 at the Cascadia Hotel. She also bagged the Best Physique Award. Lee Ann was crowned by Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs, Anil Roberts and Davia Chambers, Miss World Trinidad & Tobago 2010.
Aside from winning the title, Forbes will receive $10,000 necklace courtesy of The Gallery; one year’s supply of makeup from Revlon Cosmetics; a $25,000 wardrobe from Peter Elias, Philipa, Carnaby Street and Micles; and a $10,000 cash prize courtesy of the Tourism Development Company, which will go towards her development.
The 1st run-up was Miss D’Abadie, Vinita Maharaj. 2nd run-up was Miss Santa Flora, Nisa Mohammed. And finally the 3rd run-up was Miss St. Joseph, Ana Rosa Banfield.
Miss Oropouche, Nariba Edwards won the The Top Model Award, which includes a contract with New York-based Boss Models.
Miss Santa Flora, Nisa Mohammed, received the prize for Miss Elegance.
