BIO:
DESCRIBE YOUR CHILDHOOD/GROWING YEARS (8-13 Years old)
I was raised in a simple and middle-class family in Calapan City. I was born and spent sixteen years of my life there. I lived together with my father, mother, and my younger brother until I moved to Manila to continue my studies. During my childhood years, I was very active in school, I joined different clubs like Theater Arts, Dance club, school band and many more. Joining beauty pageant was also one of my interests since I was just a little girl. But one best thing I could say about my childhood was my attachment to my family.
WHAT LESSONS DID YOU LEARN FROM YOUR CHILDHOOD/GROWING YEARS?
Since I grew up in a middle-class family, I think the most important lesson that I have learned during my childhood years was to be contented and thankful with what I have. I also won't forget what my mother has always been telling me every now and then, "Hindi bale ng tayo ang masaktan, wag lang tayo ang makasakit." I live up to it until now.
WHAT IS YOUR MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT?
It was the moment I knew that I did not make it to the Honors List in college. It was very hard for me to accept because I really wanted it badly. I have always dreamt of having my parents come up on stage with me during my graduation day, but unluckily, it didn't happen. It only made me realize that in life, I can't have everything that I want even how much I want it, I just have to believe that better things are coming my way.
WHAT IS YOUR ENVIRONMENTAL ADVOCACY?
"One Man, One Tree". A man who plants tree does not just build a forest, but a planet.
