Mianette Broekman crowned Miss World New Zealand 2011
22 year old Mianette Broekman was crowned Miss World New Zealand 2011 in a beauty pageant held on April 30 at the Alexandria Park Function Centre in Greenland, Auckland. She was crowned by Cody Carlece Yerkovich, Miss World New Zealand 2010.
Broekman is a graduate of political science from the University of Auckland and currently in her 2nd year of law. She is South African and has been living in New Zealand for nine years.
Standing 5'9" tall, Mianette will represent New Zealand at Miss World 2011 pageant in December.
The 1st run-up was Alexandra Grace Scott. She will compete at Miss Earth 2011 contest.
Competing at Miss International 2011 competition was the 2nd run-up, Claire Kirby.
