My brother because he’s the only one who is going to stay with me throughout the bad and good moments of my life.
What is your proudest personal accomplishment (other than participating in this pageant)?
One of my biggest achievements on a personal level was my ability to adjust to a brand new culture. I had to learn not one, but two new languages. This experience definitely helped shape my optimistic outlook on life .
What is the most interesting or unique thing that has ever happened to you and/or what is the most interesting thing about you?

What is your career ambition and what are you doing or plan to do to accomplish that goal?
I have always like the fashion and movie industry, and I think to accomplish these goals, I have to start with a very important tool that is language - which is the key to communicate with the world.

Describe where you were raised and what your childhood was like.
I was born in Cali , Colombia and lived there until 12. I then moved to the US in a exchange with the school for 6 months, finally settling in Sherbrooke. My experiences in these different countries and cultures have help shaped me into the person I am today.
List any volunteering you have done.
I had the opportunity to work with Bosque de Niebla fondation helping displaced children who lived in areas where landmines are a concern. Colombia has the highest concentration of landmines in the world.
Where is the most interesting place you have been?
In Gorgona, which is a Colombian Island in the Pacific Ocean. This island functioned as a prison (similar to Alcatraz Island) until 1985 when it was turned into a National Reservation Park. When I was young, I visited this place with my family, where violation of human rights was permitted, a place where people were tortured. This did not end, until one day my grandfather, Carlos E Restrepo, a congressman at that time, went on a humanitarian mission to this place. When he arrived he witnessed the atrocities for himself and decided then that he would do something about it. He returned to the prison as a volunteer and doctor, and spoke out about the atrocities being committed at this prison. Soon after, this prison was shut down, and later, he wrote a book named Isla Prision Gorgona :imagen y realidad.
What do you hope to be doing in ten years?
Everybody at one time or another asks themselves the same question: what do we want to do with our lives, who will we be with. However , we always find it difficult to answer these complexe questions with accuracy. The only way to get an answer is to live the life, to do the things that make you happy, and that will make those around you happy. Personally, when I reflect upon this question, I see myself making a difference that can have a positive impact -- whether it be in my personal life or professional life . Above everything, I see myself with a family, which is the foundation of a sustainable society and I look forward to the day when I can contribute to society in that way.
