Contestants of Mister & Miss Island Philippines 2012

A total of 23 official candidates - 11 gorgeous women and 12 sexy gentlemen were presented to the press as this year's Mr. and Miss Island Philippines 2012 official delegates.

Ovette Ricalde, organizer of the pageant announced that the male winner will represent the country in Mister Earth 2012 to be held in Guatemala. While the female grand winner will compete in Miss Globe International 2012 in Turkey.

Prior to the finals, the hopefuls undergone through rigorous personality development training, Earth Stewardship seminars, photo shoots and a series of sponsor visits. They also spearheaded a tree-planting activity with the Governor of Rizal Casimiro M. Ynares.

The grand coronation night was scheduled on June 23 at the Ynarez Sports Arena in Pasig City. A special telecast on June 24 at 10:30pm via Studio23.
