Meet the new Nigerian delegate to Miss World 2012
Damiete Charles-Granville (21) was the 1st run-up and also crowned the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria-Universe last May and supposed to compete in Miss Universe 2012, will now compete and represent her country Miss World 2012 beauty pageant on August 18 in Ordos, Inner Mongolia in China.
Damiete will replace the original winner, Isabella Ayuk (25) who was not allowed to compete because of the age requirements of the international pageant.
An official statement has not been released by Silverbird Productions, organizers of the MBGN national pageant. But given the chance, Isabella can participate in Miss Universe 2012 competition on December, where the age limit is up to 27 years old.
