Miss World Philippines 2012 Official Candidates

The 2nd annual Miss Philippines World 2012 was scheduled to take place on June 24 at the Manila Hotel Tent. Gwendolyn Ruais, the reining queen and also 1st run-up in Miss World 2011 will take her final walk and crown her successor during the event.

The pageant was organized by Ms. Cory Quirino and will be telecast by TV5. This year's theme was “Beauty with a Purpose, underscoring the advocacy of Miss World in championing the cause of marginalized women and children.”

Whoever the winner will be competing representing the country at the Miss World 2012 competition to be held on August 18 at the Dongsheng Fitness Center Stadium in Ordos, Inner Mongolia in China.
