Mister & Miss Island Philippines 2012 Winners
The very first ever Mister and Miss Island Philippines pageant took place last June 23, 2012 at the Ynarez Sports Arena in Pasig City and hosted by former Miss Philippines Earth 2006 Catherine Untalan and Mr. Generation East 2006 Stephen Patrick Moor.
Crowned as Miss Island Philippines 2012 was Mica Angela Angeles from Laguna. She competed in last year's Miss World Philippines but got unplaced. She will now represent the country in Miss Globe International in Turkey this coming October.
Meanwhile, Henry Recinto of Bulacan won the title of Mister Island Philippines 2012 and will travel to Guatemala City for the Mister Earth competition. He was the winner of Lakan ng Marilao 2011.
It's a tough battle between the winners and the 1st runners-up who were Jimmy Dionisio of Caloocan and Stacy Perares from Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.
Finishing as the 2nd runners-up placers were Clarence Mananguit from Bulacan and Mandaluyong's pride Leslie Ann Ramos.
Other special titles are also given to a specific delegates:
Leslie Ann Ramos was crowned the title of Miss United Nations Philippines. She will compete in the Miss United Nations contest to be held in Miami, Florida in USA.
The title of Miss Teen Earth Philippines was awarded to Ellaine Santiago of Bulacan. She will enter the 1st Miss Teen Earth International pageant in Quito, Ecuador on September.
