Joan Johnson (president of Pageantry St. Lucia) together with Yasmine Walcott, both national directors of Miss Universe and Miss World in Saint Lucia decided to merge the two contests into one to select their official representatives to international competitions. The finals was held last November 3 at the Sandals Grande resort.

Miss St. Lucia Universe 2012. She stands 5'11" tall and will travel to Las Vegas, Nevada to compete in the upcoming
Miss Universe 2012 contest to be held on December 19 at the PH Live in Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
A native from Georgetown,
Oneka McCoy was selected as
Miss St. Lucia World 2013. This 25 year old beauty from stands 5'7" tall and will enter the
Miss World 2013 in Mata Elang International Stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia on September next year.
