Annamaria Rakosi wins A Szepsegkirelyno (Miss Hungary) 2013
21 year old Annamaria Rakosi from Debrecen was the over-all winner of A Szepsegkirelyno 2013 contest and received the title of Miss World Hungary 2013 during an event held at the TV2 studios in Budapest.
Standing 5'8" tall, Annamaria previously competed in Miss Supranational 2012 in Warsaw, Poland. She will now be the official representative of Hungary in Miss World 2013 which will take place on September 28 at the Sentul International Convention Center in Sentul, Bogor, West Java and in Nusa Dua Complex in Bali, Indonesia.
Finished as 1st run-up and also named as Miss Universe Hungary 2013 was 18 year old Rebeka Karpati from Budapest. She stands 5'7" tall and will travel to Russia to enter the Miss Universe 2013 contest on November 9 in Crocus City Hall in Moscow.
Considered as crowd favorite, Korinna Koksis finished as 2nd run-up, but refused accept the crown and title of Miss Intercontinental Hungary 2013. It happened during the live telecast the national pageant held in Budapest. Minutes later, she published on her Facebook page that she did not accept the results because she already knew she would not be placed as one of the two winners. She participated in Miss Hungary back in 2009, when she placed 3rd as well and represented her country in Miss Earth.
The 3rd run-up, Brigitta Timar will be the one to represent the country and compete in Miss Intercontinental 2013 on November.
