Erin Brady of Connecticut wins Miss USA 2013
25 year old Miss Connecticut, Erin Brady from East Hampton won the title of Miss USA 2013 held last June 16 at the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Resort Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was crowned by the outgoing Miss USA, Nana Meriwether.
Standing 5'7.5" tall, Erin will try to win for her country's back-to-back victory at the Miss Universe 2013 pageant to take place on November 9 at the Crocus City Hall in Moscow, Russia.
Mary-Margaret McCord (Alabama) placed as 1st run-up. Stacie Juris (Illinois) was the 2nd run-up. Crowd favorite Marissa Powell (Utah) ended as 3rd run-up and also awarded as Miss Photogenic. Alexandria Nugent (Texas) was the 4th run-up, who was also voted by fans on twitter. And finally Megan Pinckney (South Carolina) finished as 5th run-up.
The top 10 semi-finalists were Kristen Girault (Louisiana), Chelsea Caswell (Nevada), Ashley Love-Mills (North Carolina) and Kristin Smith (Ohio).
Mabelynn Capeluj (California), Kasey Staniszewski (Massachusetts), Sarah Kidd (Maryland), Jessica Billings (Pennsylvania) and Chelsea Welch (West Virginia) were the delegates completing the top 15 quarter finalists.
Gabrielle Neilan (Oregon) was chosen as Miss Congeniality.
