Elena Ibarbia Jimenez wins Miss World Spain 2013
On June 29 at the Lago Martianez Complex in Puerto de la Cruz in the Tenerife Islands, 18 year old Elena Ibarbia Jimenez was crowned as the very first Miss World Spain 2013.
The event was organized by Guillermo Escobar, national director of Miss World in Spain and president of Be Beautiful Spain, who took over the license from the late Miss EspaƱa pageant.
Finished as the 1st run-up was Ines Baquera and the 2nd run-up was Cristina Mesa Postigo.
Elena is from Donostia, Basque Country and she stands 5'11" tall. She will travel to Indonesia to represent Spain in Miss World 2013 to be held on September 28 at the Sentul International Convention Center in Sentul, Bogor, West Java and in Nusa Dua Complex in Bali.
