Karen Soto wins Miss Venezuela Mundo 2013
21 year old Srta. Zulia, Karen Andrea Soto Lugo from Maracaibo won the title of Miss Venezuela Mundo 2013 held last August 10 at the Venevision's Estudio Uno in Caracas.
Srta. Lara, Yulibeth Jazmil Angarita Serrano was the 1st run-up and Srta. Amazonas, Andrea Carolina Escobar Colombo was the 2nd run-up.
Karen Andrea stands 1.79m tall and she will travel to Indonesia to represent Venezuela in Miss World 2013 pageant to take place on September 28 at the Sentul International Convention Center in Sentul, Bogor, West Java and in Nusa Dua Complex in Bali, Indonesia.
It was the first time since 2006 that Venezuela held separate contests for Miss World and Miss Universe. The Miss Venezuela Mundo contest was reinstated after the Miss World Organization asked the Cisneros Group to organize a separate stand-alone contest to choose the official delegate of the country for Miss World.
