23 year old
Andrea Paulette Samayoa Muy from Peten was crowned as the new
Miss Guatemala 2013 during a glittering event took place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Guatemala City last August 14.
Andrea will represent
Guatemala at the
Miss Universe 2013 pageant to be held on November 9 at the Crocus City Hall in Moscow, Russia.
Meanwhile, 25 year old
Karla Loraine Quinto Turcios from Guatemala City finished as 1st run-up and also crowned
Miss Mundo Guatemala 2013. She will travel to Indonesia to compete in
Miss World 2013 on September 28 at the Sentul International Convention Center in Sentul, Bogor, West Java and in Nusa Dua Complex in Bali.
In 2nd run-up place was 24 year old
Sara Veralucia Guerrero Chavarria from Baja Verapaz. She was also crowned
Miss Internacional Guatemala 2013 and will enter the
Miss International 2013 contest.
