Tokyo, Japan will host Miss International 2014
The Kokusai Bunka Kyokai, organizers of the Miss International beauty pageant since 1971, announced that this year’s edition of the contest will take place in the Hiten Main Banquet Hall of the Hiten Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa in Tokyo (Japan) on Tuesday, November 11th.
70 candidates from all over the globe will arrive in Japan on October 27th to attend the schedule of traditional activities such as the election of Miss Photogenic, Press Presentation and the Miss International Forum, among others.
The Hiten Banquet Hall offers the latest in technology and can accomodate up to 5,000 people. The pageant will have a live webcast that will show the coronation of a new Miss International. The reigning titleholder is Philippines’ Bea Rose Santiago.
The Miss International competition belongs to the “Grand Slam of Beauty Pageants” established by Global Beauties in 1998, due to its duration and tradition. Its current status is of “Grand Prix”.
