Sports Challenge of Miss World 2014
Early morning of November 22, the girls put on their athletic wear, ate a healthy breakfast and went straight to the Marriott County Hall Fitness Center to face the staff in their fitness challenge. The ladies had to row, squat, complete press ups and burpees, all in a row and against the clock. They were were given scores out of 20, and this will help determine who advances to the Miss World Sports Final
The qualifiers were announced on November 25 and there were 32 contestants who were selected as semifinalists, with 8 for each group and will go through the Sports finals held at the UK’s leading indoor sports arena on November 26. The 5 sports events are long jump, 60 metre sprints ,dreaded bleep test, tug of war and 4 X 200m relays.
