Tran Ngoc Lan Khue wins Miss World Vietnam 2015
23 year old Tran Ngoc Lan Khue from Ho Chi Minh City won the Miss World Vietnam 2015 beauty contest which ended in Ho Chi Minh City on January 5.
Standing 1.76m tall, Tran Ngoc Lan Khue is one of the country’s most outstanding models. She had won the third prize in the Asian Supermodel contest in 2012 in China and the highest prize of the Vietnam Supermodel Contest 2013. She will now represent Vietnam in Miss World 2015.
Pham Hong Thuy Van, 23, 1.72m, from Ho Chi Minh City was the first runner-up, she will compete in Miss International 2015. The second runner-up went to Nguyen Thi Le Quyen, 23, 1.73m, of Bac Lieu Province. She will enter the Miss Supranational 2015 contest.
Miss World 2011 Ivian Sarcos was invited to act as a judge at the coronation night. This was the first reality TV show in Vietnam seeking candidates to participate in international beauty pageants. Contestants spent 75 days for training workshops on communication, fitness, makeup, style, and etiquettes by leading experts, and competed with each other.
