Yuri Uchida of Japan crowned International Queen of Coffee 2015
Yuri Uchida of Japan was crowned International Queen of Coffee 2015 held in Manizales, Colombia.
Vice-Queen was Miss Portugal, Marcia Assuncao. 1st princess was Miss Venezuela, Yulibeth Angarita. 2nd princess was Miss Brazil, Vitoria Bisognin. And 3rd princess was Miss Haiti, Yvanne Jean-Baptiste.
The pageant is part of the traditional Coffee Fair of Manizales, Colombia, and exists since the 1950’s.
Yuri Uchida, the first Japanese and Asian beauty to conquer the title, is 25 years old and a model back home.
During the final interview, translators could not make her understand the question, or translate her answer, when she started crying. The crowd started screaming “Japan, Japan!”, and the judges picked the charismatic Japanese beauty as the winner.
