Vietnam wins Mister Global 2015
The 2nd edition of Mister Global contest took place in Bangkok, Thailand, and the winner was Mister Global Vietnam Nguyen Van Son. The event happened at Nakarin Space in Thailand’s exciting capital city.
The new Mister Global is a 21-year-old national taekwondo player who has won numerous gold medals both at nationals and international events. He enjoys sports and working out at the gym when he is not modeling. He hails from Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam.
Throughout a one hour and a half well produced and dynamic event, contestants from over 21 countries around the globe competed in four categories: talent, swimwear, evening wear and interview.

Mister Photogenic Global Award: Mister Global Czech Republic Jakub Smirak. A special panel of experts voted for the contestant who exemplifies handsomeness through the lens of a camera.
Mister Congeniality Global Award: Mister Global France Bryan Weber. The award reflects the respect and admiration of the contestant’s peers, who voted for him as the most congenial, charismatic and inspirational contestant.
Best Talent Award: Mister Global Indonesia Fajar Alamsyah Akbar. The award is presented to the contestant who impressed the judges with his talent presentation.
Best Physique Award: Mister Global Puerto Rico Jose Lopez. The award is presented to the contestant who demonstrated fitness through the swimwear competition.
Best Model Award: Mister Global Korea Yun Teho. The award is presented to the contestant who showed modeling potentials.
Best National Costume Award: Mister Global Thailand Apiwit Kunadireck. The award is presented to the contestant who displayed his country’s pride and spirit best in costume.
The MISTER GLOBAL 2015 prize package includes: a cash prize; a sash; a custom trophy; accommodation in a city apartment/hotel suite for the duration of his reign while in Thailand; modeling portfolio; travel opportunities representing the Mister Global Organization and personal appearance opportunities representing sponsors and charitable alliances.
