Maria Gabriela Isler wins Miss Venezuela 2012
24 year old Miss Guarico, Maria Gabriela de Jesus Isler Morales won the most prestigious pageant in her nation, the Miss Venezuela 2012 contest. It was held last August 30 at the Salon Naiguata, Hotel Tamanaco Intercontinental in Caracas where she was crowned by last year's winner, Irene Esser.
Standing 1.79m tall, Gabriela from Maracay will compete at the Miss Universe 2013 competition next year.
Crowned as Miss Venezuela Internacional was Miss Aragua, Elian Herrera. This 21 year old beauty stands 184cm tall and will enter the Miss International 2013.
Miss Falcon, Alyz Henrich from Punto Fijo was awarded the title of Miss Venezuela Tierra. She is 21 years of age and stands 175cm tall. She will compete for the title of Miss Earth 2013 which is expected to be held in the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand on November next year.
Finished as the 1st run-up was Miss Tachira, Ivanna Vale. And the 2nd run-up was Miss Yaracuy, Maria Julia Alvarez.
Completing the top 10 semi-finalists were: Hylenne Baez (Amazonas); Keilys Rivero (Bolivar); Milunay Hull (Cojedes); Oriana Lucchese (Miranda) and Rociree Silva (Peninsula Goajira) which was voted by the audience during the final night.
It is a tradition of Miss Venezuela to crown a delegate to represent them in Miss World. But for the 1st time in history it was not crowned during the national pageant. A separate selection will take place to choose Miss Venezuela Mundo 2013, as the MWO requires a special national titleholder to be sent by each participating country.
