Phataraporn Wang of Thailand wins Miss Intercontinental 2014

19 year old Phataraporn Wang from Bangkok, Thailand was crowned as the new Miss Intercontinental 2014 held last December 4 at the Maritim Hall of the Maritim Hotel in Magdeburg, Germany. She was crowned by the outgoing Miss Intercontinental, Ekaterina Plekhova of Russia.

Phataraporn is the first Thai to win the title. She will receive a 15,000.00 USD prize and a 18,000 USD Contract (12 months) and she can move to Germany if she so wishes to do so. She will also be VIP guest at The TOP MODEL OF WORLD contest that will happen next January in China. She will also be able to choose a beautiful $3,000.00 value evening gown by designer Julio César Battaglia.

The first runner up Miss Cuba, Jesly Mergal will receive a prize money of $3,000.00 and a $5,000.00 voucher from Lacomed Berlin

The second runner up Miss Philippines, Kris Tiffany Janson will receive a $1,500.00 money prize.

The remaining 3 of the 6 finalists: Argentina - Nadina Vallina, South Africa - Donique Leonard and Portugal - Joana Martins will receive a $1,000.00 money prize.

All the top 6 finalists will receive a prize of one week trip to Jordan/Amman; Tala-bay and Dead Sea that includes:

– Business Class Ticket from home country to Amman

– Full VIP accommodation in a five stars hotels (Intercontinental Hotel and Radisson BLU)
